Wishlist - Oliver Bonas

  I think I may have found my new favourite shop! Oliver Bonas has everything.. Homeware, Clothes, Furniture, Jewellery & much, much more. Although I will have to take a mortgage out on my imaginary house to buy everything I love on the site, I still think they're a reasonable priced shop. So here is my most loved pieces from Oliver Bonas;

| Scarf - £9 | Photo Frame - £26 | Hanging Mirror - £25 | Coffee Table - £350 |
| Round Stone Bangle - £26 | Chest of Draws - £495 |
| Leaf & Stone Necklace - £26 | Dress - £65 | Hand & Nail Cream - £8.50 |

  Now lets just take a moment to talk about Oliver Bonas furniture, it is just gorgeous & out there at the same time! Different colour combinations, types of wood and all the different draws handles on one piece.. amazing! I think if you got one of these piece it would have to be the focus of your room & everything else toned down, otherwise the room would slash and be too much to take in at once (white walls, framed black & white prints, matching blue sofa, etc). The prices may seem a little high but they're pieces you'll love & have for a number of years!
  The jewellery I've picked out I'm secretly thinking of buying for myself as a present. Christmas is only round of corner & I need a few new pieces for family meals & outings. The necklace is a great autumn piece, the leaf design is lovely, really delicate, stunninig. I'm really into stone jewellery at the moment which is why I think I've picked out two items featuring them; I think it's a good investment as stone is timeless, you would of seen it in the flapping 1920's and it's a good bet it will be round another hundred years.
  The hanging copper mirror would of been a great edition in the A/W Copper Wishlist, Copper is really popular at the moment for home decor! This mirror would be a great way to add a little detail into your living room or hallway.

  I think this shop may be my favourite find of the year... If only I was a rich girl (Gwen Stefani moment there.. That song will stuck in my head for days now!) I would be buying their whole stock & everything they get in future.

  Have you used Oliver Bonas before? Found any little gems?

Life On Instagram

  If there's one app I just don't use enough of it's Instagram! You'd think for someone who is so in love with photography I'd be eating it up for breakfast, lunch & dinner.. But for so many reasons I'm not. (Which I'd love to get into but it just makes little me very annoyed!) But for the rest of the year & maybe even longer I'm setting myself a challenge to do more & take more.
  I haven't got a iPhone or even a phone which came out in the last two years so the camera does not compare to the likes of most on Instagram (It has 5MP but I swear only 2MP work) but I do have the eye for taking picturesque images & silly photos.

  When I have a look through my feed of mediocre image I can spot a few gems! Which does make me think 'What if I hadn't had my rubbish phone then?' I could of missed a few special moments & I wouldn't have an image to remember it by! Also, it proves to myself that you don't need to have best camera to be a photographer (Something my college teacher would drill into my head every term).
  Therefore, I am going to take more photos & try use my two million megapixels to the maximum!

  Do you like using instagram? Have you taken a masterpiece on your phone?

Wishlist - A/W Copper Home

After reading the wonderful ROCO online home magazine last night, I became inspired by the Copper home trend on Pages, 10 - 12 from Issue Ten; So throughout today I have been sprawling around the world of the internet looking for a few key pieces that would go with two of the items from the article, that I'd love to have for when I get a new place with Mr M in a few months. I've kept the prices to £40 & Under as when your dealing with copper the prices really can run away with you, as I did find myself looking at a £900 lamp & now I need it in my life!

Number One - Set of Bowls - Rowen & Wren - £36
Number Two - Square Candelabra - John Lewis - £26
Number Three - Copper & Black Acctim Wall Clock - Tesco - £30
Number Four - Albus Twisted Table Lamp - John Lewis - £40
Number Five - Storage Basket - H&M - £6.99
Number Six - Wooden Tealight Holder - H&M - £1.99

  Number One is a set of four bowls from Rowen & Wren which are simply gorgeous! They are described as ice cream bowls which just makes them even cuter. As they have high quantities of copper in them, they will patina over time giving them a unique character which would look lovely on your kitchen shelf.
  Number Two is a square candelabra which can dress up any dining table known to man. The shape kind of reminds of something I made back in Tech at High School (I don't know if that's a good thing? or bad?) but I kinda like it! Also it isn't a very strong copper colour, so if you're worried about adding copper to your home this would be a great first step!
  Number Three is actually one of my favourites (While writing this it has become out of stock.. my heart is breaking) & I'm really going to have to buy this first! There is also a white version on different websites (Amazon) but I really cannot decide which is better! I just love how most of the numbers are dented in but 12, 3, 6 & 9 pop out, just adds a lot more detail to this simple but amazing clock.

  Number Four, a lamp from John Lewis, is really starting to grow on me.. At first the shape was a tad strange but I now adore it. It's a great statement lamp to sit next to a sofa or in a bedroom if your side table needs more of a focal point.
  Number Five is a gorgeous storage basket from H&M which is perfect for a office work space (Think pinterest white desk & walls), I can really see myself storing my planner, a book & paperwork in it.
  Number Six is a collection of three different tealight holders from H&M, each one costing £1.99, so you can get the set for less then £6! I love the copper, wood & white holder the best, it's just perfect for adding a dash of copper to your living room without going OTT.

How about you, do you like the copper trend? Have you found any great pieces?

Review - Fragrance Direct Make-Up Haul

  I have a confession to make.. I don't know anything about make-up; I don't know what most of it does, I don't know how to apply it & I don't have a daily make-up routine. (Shocking I know) I often go on websites, have a look at all the different foundations, blushers & eye-liners, put some items in the bag and close the website page down; Stand in-front of a make-up stand in Boots and get confused by all the different choices, start thinking 'what the feck is the difference between a BB Cream & a CC Cream and why the feck do I need these in me life?!' Calmly placing them back down, turning around and walk the hell out of there.
  So after reading a number of beauty blogs I follow, I decided to go for it & buy some cheap make-up & then in-case I don't like it or they don't agree with me, I wouldn't mind wasting a few pound on them. So this will probably be my first & last make-up review unless I dare to go into boots again..

Number One;

  I've never really got the hang of eye shadow.. I could put the colour on one eye & it would look completely different on the other! Also, I don't know if it's just me or most people who wear glasses but I tend to feel it looks wrong? It never just really goes? Well after trying a few million times I managed to get some on & I still haven't got the hang of smokey eyes but the colours do look lovely! They go on great and to my amazement have not been too dusty or fall on my cheeks which is what you expect with a 99 pence eyeshadow palette!

Number Two;

Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance In Peach Glow - £1.99

  Not really sure why I was drawn to this product as it came out forever ago.. But I just liked to colour (Is that bad?) To be honest this really did not work for my complication at all. I used it all different ways, just blending on cheeks, mixing with my foundation, but it attracted to my dry skin & clumped.. Maybe if I had more of a oily skin it could of worked! Yet, the colour was a lovely warm pinky/peach shade which was gorgeous on my skin tone! It really did give me a instant healthy looking glow in colour.

Number Three;

  I've never used a highlighter before & for the price of £1.99 you really can not give it a go! With the long shifts I've been working and the sleepless nights I have started to get noticeable bags under the eyes so I put Technic to the test & I have to say it's amazing! You just turn the easy to use dial to get the right amount for yourself, dab under the eyes and blend in with your finger or brush; & job's a good'un! Brighten eyes with no sign of dark circles to be seen. This is now my staple piece of make-up, I take it everywhere with me.

Number Four & Five;

Astor Perfect Stay Transferproof Lip Tint in Blushing Rose & Cotton Candy - 99p Each.

  When I saw these lip tints at the these ridiculous prices I had to give them a go! I have used lip gloss a few times over the years & hated them, also with lipstick I've used them but can never find a good shade for me. So I picked a couple pinky shades & gave them a go for a week. Firstly, lets just say they don't last that long; I went to the pub last week wearing Cotton Candy (which looks absolutely gorgeous on) When we got there I already had to put some back on, it did take us 30 minutes to get there as we were stuck in traffic but still as soon as I arrive some where I don't want to be running to the bathroom to re-apply! Do I girls? Nevertheless, to colours are great! My favourtie has to be Cotton Candy, it's not too pink & not too red & not too bright (I sound like Goldilocks). In the future I don't think I'd buy these again but If I could get these sort of shades in a lip stick I might buy that!

One last thing to say, You really need to check out Fragrance Direct & not just for perfumes! Their prices are amazing for everything! Just look how cheap this haul was.. £6.95!! You really can not go wrong.

Jeez this has been long to say I don't know anything about make-up!
Does anyone have a tip on what one piece of make-up I need in my life? My next staple?

Wishlist - Ebay #2 - Pastel Blue & Pink Edition

| Straws - 99p | Chair - £54.99 | Duvet Cover - £16.95 | Handbag - £16.06 |
| Jewellery Box - £32.00 | Ceramic Butterfly Dish - £6.25 |

  I've been at it again, making huge watch list on Ebay.. I don't think a day goes by without having a quick look for bargains now & I reckon I've found a few goodies this time!
  We'll start off with the straws shall we? They're a gorgeous pastel pink chevron pattern & made out of environmental safe paper; They would make me the envy of all my friends on instagram for sure! They also come in array of different colours including yellow, blue, grey, purple & red. At only 99p for a pack of 25 you can't go wrong!
  Next up is this beautiful replica of a Philippe Starck's ghost chairs series; First prduced in the 1998 they have become ever more popular with interior desingers in the last few years. This one is in a lovely rose hue; I can imagine it sitting infront of a bedroom dresser in my dream house. As original Philippe Starck ghost chairs go for over £200 this is a bargain at £54.99 with free delivery!

  If you like Shabby Chic or are obsessed with rose patterns (as many of us are!) then this is for you. A charming Catherine Lansfield Duvet Cover called Canterbury Floral Blue. As I have only just brought a new gorgeous duvet cover, I have this may have to wait awhile!
  As a teenager I classed myself as a skater who couldn't skate so the closest I came to a handbag was a Roxy Music Backpack, then in my twenty's I transitioned from backpack to satchel & to this day I still haven't owned a handbag (I know.. I'm not a proper girl) But I'm thinking this lovely blue Korean handbag could maybe be my first? Firstly, lovin' the colour. Secondly, arn't those winged sides cute? Thirdly, It comes with a strap in-case I can't go full handbag & I can wear it on my shoulder.
   Next up we have a Turquoise Glass Geometric Print Mirror Jewellery Box from the Debenhams Ebay shop, I think this would look gorgeous on a bedside table! I've never really liked mirrored objects but the turquoise geometric pattern really sets it apart.
  Lastly, I have had to include these ceramic cute little butterfly dishes; I think these are advertise as food dishes but I reckon it would be great to hold rings & earrings on each side!

  Have you seen anything of Ebay lately?

What I've bought lately;

  I did some extra photo editing work this week which means money money money! Therefore a bit of retail therapy was in order. I'm not sure how many items would class as a haul but I'm going to call it a haul anyway. I only had time to pop into two shops today in Leeds, so obviously it would be New Look & Primark; I just love Primark's selection and lets not forget price, New Look is one of my favourite shops I could walk in there & walk out with the whole shop if I was rich enough.

  New Look;

  Primark;

  I have to say my favourite item has to be the boots; I just love black ankle boots, give me a pair of them over high heels any day! I actually already have three different pairs already but another one isn't going to hurt right?

Number One - Black Boots - £24.99
Number Two - Pale Blue 3/4 Sleeve Jumper - £7.00 (On Sale)
Number Three - Blue Butterfly Top - £4.00
Number Four - Mint Green Jumper - £8.00
Number Five - Gold Feather Ring - £1.00
Number Six - Blackcurrant & Orchid Candle - £1.00

Photo Collage - Better Late Then Never.

  Do you ever get that, you plan something down to a T & then something small and silly gets in your way. Well quite a few days ago (Okay, weeks ago) it was my birthday day out with Mr M, It was lovely! Best birthday in quite awhile; We went to old, sleepy town of Ilkley, West Yorkshire. A lovely little spa town with the beautiful River Wharfe running through it. So, it's taken me all this time to edit the photos from that day.. & here they are, Enjoy!

  I think I'm in love with that bridge; I must of taken literally fifty photos of it, in every angle possible! Don't you think it would be a great place for an engagement photo session? Or a children's portrait session?

  Have you ever been? & Don't you think the duckie is so cute?

Wishlist - Topshop

  Have you seen Topshop lately? They have some lovely sale items on at the moment (you know me.. cannot resist a sale) & quite few new pieces for the A/W14 collection! Here's a quick list of my favorites & I added a satchel in there for good measure.

Number One. Medium Clean Satchel - £28
Number Two. Lips in Ditsy - £8
Number Three. Giggle Geek Shoes - £28
Number Four. Cami & Shorts PJ Set - £26
Number Five. Olivia Burton Watch - £62
Number Six. Lace Collar Top - £16
Number Seven. Strappy Lace Panel Sundress - £35

  I actually need to get these in my life, like right now.. but payday hasn't arrived yet so I shall just dream, for now. My top three are Number One, Number Three & Number Four.
  What to say about Number One? Well it's a satchel, an adorable satchel & that's enough said! I'll move on to Number Three; I'm predominately a ankle boots kinda girl, but these shoes/sandal hybrid caught my eye. Firstly, they are super cute! & Secondly, they cover the toes plus the heels, which is wonderful for me as I hate toes! (Strange.. I know.) Now Number Four, I'm always on the look out for new PJ's (I've just bought this & this and i'm spending more time in them, then normal clothes) This set is too lovely to resist, the colour is perfect for me & the texture looks soft & delicate, great for the rest of summer!

  How about yourself, found anything nice at topshop lately?

Design - You are my sunshine

 http://society6.com/michaelapalmer/you-are-my-sunshine-hcn_print#1=45

Have you ever just had a song stuck in your head & couldn't get rid of it? Well I have at this moment in time! The lovely song 'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey' (Singing in a little childish voice) I decided to put my sidetracked brain to good use & make it into a design. I'm in love with quote related homeware at this time whether it be on a cushion, bedding or like the quote vinyl wall sticker in my last post from Ebay. I was going to use the whole sentence but it just looked cluttered & squashed, later opting for the four words, which now I think is more catching and if you're like me.. your starting to sing the whole song after you read it. I was just using a plain orange sun but it felt boring to me so I knew it would be for you! After thinking for about half an hour I remembered about using shiny textures & found a great gold leaf texture to use. Overall simple but strong; I'm really going to have to get the tote for next summer!

Wishlist - Ebay #1

  Here is my first Ebay wishlist! Basically a list of things I have fallen in love with over the last week on.. you guessed it.. Ebay. I'm starting to wonder if my wage this month will stretch far enough for me to get a couple of these, we shall have to wait & see!
  At Number One we have Anna Sui - La Vie de Boheme EDT 50ml, I'm not sure if you lovely ladies have used/heard of Anna Sui but it's the only perfume I really ever use. This is one I haven't tried as of yet, so I shall have to give it a go! But don't you think the bottle is just so pretty?
  Number Two is amazing, a vintage style Wall's ice cream, milkshake maker; how exciting! It comes in a lovely blue & a cream version; I would have to get blue of course. It has a 12oz cup so you can make yourself one & your friends at the same time.
  I'm not sure if you can tell but at Number Three I've got a vinyl wall sticker, it's a lovely quote 'Live as if it's your last day, Dream as if you'll live forever' A great quote for above the bed, I don't think it would suit our bedroom at the moment but me & my other half are thinking about moving so maybe then.
  Number Four is a nice little photo frame with french style framing in white, just charming. I can never get too many photo frames! & this one would go great with my collection.
  Now i really need a new statement necklace & I think Number Five is gorgeous. I'm in love with the pastel shades, I just can not get enough of them at the moment, how about you?
  Finally we have Number Six a cute little cream ceramic bird oil burner, I've just won some oil melts in a competition so these would be great to use them in, I think it would go great on my bedside table!

Wishlist - Glasses

The fashion of glasses has changed a lot recently, ever since the introduction of 'Geek Glasses', well re-introduction. Glasses have become cool & not something you'd get bullied about at school anymore! There is now a wider choice in frame style, colours and sizes which is why they're more a fashion statement then ten years ago, with you being able to express yourself as easy as changing a top.
It was only a few months ago I found the world of internet glasses shopping, like many of us I had been wrapped up in the need to try before I buy not knowing a lot of glasses websites have that option as well.
I have rounded up my top eight pairs with prices starting at £15 to £229, some websites charge a separate payment for lens so I have included both for all of you! I would like this to be a weekly thing but as company's don't update their collections very often this might have to be monthly!
My top three are 1, 7 & 8, I've just bought pair number 7 in purple & I think they are just amazing, the colours look lovely on and they are nice & big which I love, plus you seriously can not go wrong for the price! I think if i could justify spending £229 for a pair of glasses number 8 would be my next choice! There are a lot of fade styles in lately with I just love! How about you, what's your favourite?

8. Name: Heston Hyson - Frame Price £229 - Lens Price: Free - From: Vision Express

Just a word of warning though, please check and read reviews for companies, there have been a few news articles about cheap companies using rubbish materials & sending back the wrong prescription in the glasses; Signs of this are headaches for longer than 2 weeks (as lots of people, including myself get headaches every time we change prescription), blurry eyesight, dizziness & nausea. If you have any of these please go to see your opticians or doctor.

P.S. Had a lovely birthday on Friday, went out for the day with my wonderful over half, took photos, had ice cream, walked up & down a river for 3 and half hours, and had a lovely meal to top it all off! Photos to follow once I get round to editing them.

Review - Mint Green Geneva Watch

I'm always on the look out for a bargain! & when I found this little piece of time in a corner of ebay, I just had to get it. So to start off the price.. drum roll please.. £2.75 with Free P&P! I'm not normally a watch person but with it being so on trend and then the price, I just had to get it. Normally when you find something that cheap on the internet you'll start to wonder, 'how long will it even last?' Well I've had it four days now and no problems so far, it has kept time very well.

The watch comes in a variety of colours including - Sky Blue, Purple, White, Black, Rose, Navy Blue & more. I fell in love with the Mint Green version, I'm not sure why but I'm becoming obsessed with Mint Green and I usually hate any form of green! This one and the sky blue version are really on trend at the moment and I might just have to treat myself to another one.. Shh!

Review - Birthday Satchel

In less than a week it's my Twenty-Something birthday & yesterday my sister gave me an early birthday gift! A beautiful satchel, I love satchels! I'm not a handbag person at all & when satchels became all the rage I knew I'd have to have one or two or ten! Sadly my beloved is coming to the end of it's life and starting to fray, which is why this lovely bag means even more.

Firstly, I love the twist from a normal satchel. The little pouch in the middle of the bag is something I haven't seen done before, it's a great size to fit a phone in or a coin purse. It also makes the front more attractive with sweeping curve of the lid going around it.
Secondly, the colour. It described as Taupe, a brownish grey mixed with gold. It not a colour I would pick for my self as I tend to go with dark colours like black & grey with bags but it's really starting to grow on me. The gold from the buckles really compliments it well.
Inside the satchel has a main zip which keeps all your belongs safe and sound, once inside a second zip compartment at the back of the bag & two pockets at the front, one small one large which I shall be placing my keys in so they don't rattle around! The bag itself looks and feels sturdy and will hopefully last longer then the meek 6 months of my last one!

All round I would give it 5/5 but even this satchel might not able to stop me looking at others.

From: Fashion Only. RRP: Around £20.
