Top Picks From George Home SS15

I think everyone has been waiting for a little summer here in rainy England & we finally had it! For one day.. So I've been searching the corners of the internet for a bit of Sun and came across George Home Summer Collections. I've picked out a few of my favourite pieces from two collections to show you, Shore Living & Eden Bedroom.

| Throw - £10 | Binoculars - £2 | Vase - £6 |
| Lamp - £35 | Octopus Cushion - Out of Stock | Map Cushion - £7 |

"Dip your toe into this season’s coastal trend with nautical-inspired accessories and textiles in sandy beige and all shades of blue."

I've always been a bit hit & miss with coastal trends, swaying towards them only looking good in a beach house in the South Hamptons or on a house boat; There is something about a few of these pieces though that I feel the need to rush out and grab them for myself.

| Jar Light - £15 | Cushion - £5 | Bunny Jar Bell - £5 |
| Throw - £10 | Duvet Cover - £14 |

"There’s nothing plain about this look. It’s pattern all the way in raspberry and juicy purple shades. Opt for a big country check or painted watercolour flowers, everywhere."

I have to say I've already gone out and brought the Watercolour Pattern Duvet Cover (You know me & watercolour patterns!) & I think I need to go out now to Asda and pick some more bits, Be right back.

Has anywhere got you slipping on your sundress & sipping pimps ready in wait?

Five things;

With me & Mr M planning on getting our new place soon, I have been looking online a lot more recently for new home inspiration, be it new kitchen gadgets that I don't think I'd ever use or new art prints to hang in our living room. Over the last few days I have found five objects I need in my life right now - No question.

| Newgate Clock - £20 | Elephant Lamp - £30 | Plate & Bowl Set - £18 | Duvet Cover - £70 | Glass Terrarium - £40 |

I really am loving the botanical theme at the moment for the bedding room, while actually just in general; It's just perfect for the start of spring and on those chilly nights in winter when you're dreaming of warmer times. The Joules Duvet Cover is just perfect for the botanical theme, the neutral tones  highlighted with yellow from the mini bees in the pattern means the colour in your room come from the prints, glass vases & plants in your Urban Outfitters terrarium

Have you started to love all things botanical?

Wishlist - Oliver Bonas

  I think I may have found my new favourite shop! Oliver Bonas has everything.. Homeware, Clothes, Furniture, Jewellery & much, much more. Although I will have to take a mortgage out on my imaginary house to buy everything I love on the site, I still think they're a reasonable priced shop. So here is my most loved pieces from Oliver Bonas;

| Scarf - £9 | Photo Frame - £26 | Hanging Mirror - £25 | Coffee Table - £350 |
| Round Stone Bangle - £26 | Chest of Draws - £495 |
| Leaf & Stone Necklace - £26 | Dress - £65 | Hand & Nail Cream - £8.50 |

Now lets just take a moment to talk about Oliver Bonas furniture, it is just gorgeous & out there at the same time! Different colour combinations, types of wood and all the different draws handles on one piece.. amazing! I think if you got one of these piece it would have to be the focus of your room & everything else toned down, otherwise the room would slash and be too much to take in at once (white walls, framed black & white prints, matching blue sofa, etc). The prices may seem a little high but they're pieces you'll love & have for a number of years!
The jewellery I've picked out I'm secretly thinking of buying for myself as a present. Christmas is only round of corner & I need a few new pieces for family meals & outings. The necklace is a great autumn piece, the leaf design is lovely, really delicate, stunninig. I'm really into stone jewellery at the moment which is why I think I've picked out two items featuring them; I think it's a good investment as stone is timeless, you would of seen it in the flapping 1920's and it's a good bet it will be round another hundred years.
The hanging copper mirror would of been a great edition in the A/W Copper Wishlist, Copper is really popular at the moment for home decor! This mirror would be a great way to add a little detail into your living room or hallway.

I think this shop may be my favourite find of the year... If only I was a rich girl (Gwen Stefani moment there.. That song will stuck in my head for days now!) I would be buying their whole stock & everything they get in future.

Have you used Oliver Bonas before? Found any little gems?

Wishlist - A/W Copper Home

After reading the wonderful ROCO online home magazine last night, I became inspired by the Copper home trend on Pages, 10 - 12 from Issue Ten; So throughout today I have been sprawling around the world of the internet looking for a few key pieces that would go with two of the items from the article, that I'd love to have for when I get a new place with Mr M in a few months. I've kept the prices to £40 & Under as when your dealing with copper the prices really can run away with you, as I did find myself looking at a £900 lamp & now I need it in my life!

Number One - Set of Bowls - Rowen & Wren - £36
Number Two - Square Candelabra - John Lewis - £26
Number Three - Copper & Black Acctim Wall Clock - Tesco - £30
Number Four - Albus Twisted Table Lamp - John Lewis - £40
Number Five - Storage Basket - H&M - £6.99
Number Six - Wooden Tealight Holder - H&M - £1.99

Number One is a set of four bowls from Rowen & Wren which are simply gorgeous! They are described as ice cream bowls which just makes them even cuter. As they have high quantities of copper in them, they will patina over time giving them a unique character which would look lovely on your kitchen shelf.
Number Two is a square candelabra which can dress up any dining table known to man. The shape kind of reminds of something I made back in Tech at High School (I don't know if that's a good thing? or bad?) but I kinda like it! Also it isn't a very strong copper colour, so if you're worried about adding copper to your home this would be a great first step!
Number Three is actually one of my favourites (While writing this it has become out of stock.. my heart is breaking) & I'm really going to have to buy this first! There is also a white version on different websites (Amazon) but I really cannot decide which is better! I just love how most of the numbers are dented in but 12, 3, 6 & 9 pop out, just adds a lot more detail to this simple but amazing clock.

Number Four, a lamp from John Lewis, is really starting to grow on me.. At first the shape was a tad strange but I now adore it. It's a great statement lamp to sit next to a sofa or in a bedroom if your side table needs more of a focal point.
Number Five is a gorgeous storage basket from H&M which is perfect for a office work space (Think pinterest white desk & walls), I can really see myself storing my planner, a book & paperwork in it.
Number Six is a collection of three different tealight holders from H&M, each one costing £1.99, so you can get the set for less then £6! I love the copper, wood & white holder the best, it's just perfect for adding a dash of copper to your living room without going OTT.

How about you, do you like the copper trend? Have you found any great pieces?

Wishlist - Ebay #2 - Pastel Blue & Pink Edition

| Straws - 99p | Chair - £54.99 | Duvet Cover - £16.95 | Handbag - £16.06 |
| Jewellery Box - £32.00 | Ceramic Butterfly Dish - £6.25 |

I've been at it again, making huge watch list on Ebay.. I don't think a day goes by without having a quick look for bargains now & I reckon I've found a few goodies this time!
We'll start off with the straws shall we? They're a gorgeous pastel pink chevron pattern & made out of environmental safe paper; They would make me the envy of all my friends on instagram for sure! They also come in array of different colours including yellow, blue, grey, purple & red. At only 99p for a pack of 25 you can't go wrong!
Next up is this beautiful replica of a Philippe Starck's ghost chairs series; First prduced in the 1998 they have become ever more popular with interior desingers in the last few years. This one is in a lovely rose hue; I can imagine it sitting infront of a bedroom dresser in my dream house. As original Philippe Starck ghost chairs go for over £200 this is a bargain at £54.99 with free delivery!

If you like Shabby Chic or are obsessed with rose patterns (as many of us are!) then this is for you. A charming Catherine Lansfield Duvet Cover called Canterbury Floral Blue. As I have only just brought a new gorgeous duvet cover, I have this may have to wait awhile!
As a teenager I classed myself as a skater who couldn't skate so the closest I came to a handbag was a Roxy Music Backpack, then in my twenty's I transitioned from backpack to satchel & to this day I still haven't owned a handbag (I know.. I'm not a proper girl) But I'm thinking this lovely blue Korean handbag could maybe be my first? Firstly, lovin' the colour. Secondly, arn't those winged sides cute? Thirdly, It comes with a strap in-case I can't go full handbag & I can wear it on my shoulder.
Next up we have a Turquoise Glass Geometric Print Mirror Jewellery Box from the Debenhams Ebay shop, I think this would look gorgeous on a bedside table! I've never really liked mirrored objects but the turquoise geometric pattern really sets it apart.
Lastly, I have had to include these ceramic cute little butterfly dishes; I think these are advertise as food dishes but I reckon it would be great to hold rings & earrings on each side!

Have you seen anything of Ebay lately?

Here is my first Ebay wishlist! Basically a list of things I have fallen in love with over the last week on.. you guessed it.. Ebay. I'm starting to wonder if my wage this month will stretch far enough for me to get a couple of these, we shall have to wait & see!
At Number One we have Anna Sui - La Vie de Boheme EDT 50ml, I'm not sure if you lovely ladies have used/heard of Anna Sui but it's the only perfume I really ever use. This is one I haven't tried as of yet, so I shall have to give it a go! But don't you think the bottle is just so pretty?
Number Two is amazing, a vintage style Wall's ice cream, milkshake maker; how exciting! It comes in a lovely blue & a cream version; I would have to get blue of course. It has a 12oz cup so you can make yourself one & your friends at the same time.
I'm not sure if you can tell but at Number Three I've got a vinyl wall sticker, it's a lovely quote 'Live as if it's your last day, Dream as if you'll live forever' A great quote for above the bed, I don't think it would suit our bedroom at the moment but me & my other half are thinking about moving so maybe then.
Number Four is a nice little photo frame with french style framing in white, just charming. I can never get too many photo frames! & this one would go great with my collection.
Now i really need a new statement necklace & I think Number Five is gorgeous. I'm in love with the pastel shades, I just can not get enough of them at the moment, how about you?
Finally we have Number Six a cute little cream ceramic bird oil burner, I've just won some oil melts in a competition so these would be great to use them in, I think it would go great on my bedside table!
